The Roadie Bass Tuner follows in the footsteps of the original Roadie Tuner and means that bass guitarists can now quickly, easily and automatically accurately tune their instruments too. It has a powerful motor for turning string gauges up to .140 and can detect frequencies as low as 25 Hz (G0). The tuner has a bright OLED display and an interface knob that allows you to scroll through settings and tunings quickly and easily. Once you've selected the right options, you can tune your bass perfectly in no time. As soon as a string is tuned, the device will vibrate to let you know it's time to move on to the next one. A USB C cable is included so that you can charge the internal battery that lasts approximately 1 month on a single charge and there's a battery indicator to let you know how much juice the Roadie Bass Tuner has left.

The Roadie Bass: Amazing Accuracy and a Free App

Unlike the first version of the Roadie tuner, this model works without the mobile app. The app can be downloaded for free from Google Play or the Apple App store and it gives you access to a number of alternative tunings and makes it possible to set up custom tunings, as well as giving you access to plenty of other options too. The Roadie Bass Tuner is exceptionally accurate and can tune each string to within 2 cents. It can be used in noisy environments too because it uses a vibration sensor instead of a mic for tuning. When you need to re-string your bass the Roadie's automatic winding feature comes in extremely handy.

À éviter ... le produit promet beaucoup, la réalisation ne suit pas du tout car de trop mauvaise qualité. C’est un accordeur cheap, mal conçu, avec des boutons fragiles (j’en ai eu 2 et les 2 souffrent des mêmes défauts et ne marchent plus au bout de quelques mois). Promis pour fonctionner avec toutes les guitares, il n’en n’est rien (certaines mécaniques Gibson trop grosses ne rentrent pas dans l’accordeur). L’application buggue régulièrement (on se demande si elle est testée).. la synchronisation marche quand elle veut.
C’est dommage. Je suis reparti sur des accordeurs « normaux » bien plus fiables et moins gadget que cet espèce de moteur en plastique.
