General

The Visaton DSM 50 FFL - 8 Ohm is a high-end 50 mm titanium dome driver, specially designed for extremely accurate midrange reproduction. Thanks to the ultra-light and strong titanium dome, together with a highly damped suspension, the frequency response is remarkably linear and free of unwanted resonances. The combination of a powerful magnet design and a ferrofluid-filled air gap ensures high efficiency and power handling up to 180 watts peak (with a 12 dB/oct. high pass from 800 Hz onwards). With an average sound pressure of 90 dB and a wide dispersion pattern, this driver is ideally suited for high-end and professional sound systems where precision and power come together.
