As the only manufacturer, Aquila uses the exclusive bioplastic monofilament core, also called Sugar. Add to that the fact that the strings are manufactured from copper and you can be sure of a rich acoustic sound. That acoustic performance is due to the fact that copper is more flexible than nickel or steel and also has a higher density.
