The ukulele itself also features a high-quality pau ferro fretboard to add some extra sonic warmth and body to the balanced acoustic sound of the mahogany build and pre-installed set of Aquila New Nylgut Concert 7U strings, and the whole instrument comes coated in a light satin-gloss finish that allows the wood to breathe and naturally age and mature.
