In de winkel gekocht zonder doos meegekregen. Thuis gekomen beseft dat er toch wel wat uitleg mist over het afstellen waar de brug moet. Ik denk ook een sleutel te missen om het vel op te spannen. Gebeld naar Bax. De man aan de telefoon kon mij niet verder helpen ik ga terug gebeld worden hopelijk komen we eruit.
Beter had ik eerst de recensies gelezen dan had ik meteen betere uitleg gevraagd.

Ongeveer een jaar geleden deze banjolele gekocht, gewoon voor de leuk al was hij met €143 best prijzig Qua prijs/kwaliteit balans zat hij toen op het randje, nu hij wat goedkoper is geworden is deze beter. Verwacht er echter niet teveel van.

Uit de doos
In eerste instantie was ik teleurgesteld in het vrij doffe geluid, maar na wat rondzoeken op internet kwam ik erachter dat het goed positioneren van de brug echt uitmaakt. Hierin heeft Fazley - en ja, het is gewoon een budgetmerk - wel echt wat steken laten liggen. Geen instructie erbij over hoe dit moet (er zijn modellen van andere merken waar ze gewoon een plastic strook meeleveren waardoor je de ideale positie van de brug meteen kan zien). Verder is de banjolele voor deze prijs prima afgewerkt en speelt hij prima.

Geluid
Zoals ik al zei, beetje dof en bij hard spelen resoneert het vel teveel. Maar met een beetje tokkelen en meestrummen krijg je wel dat leuke banjo-geluid, dus meer dan een leuk instrument om er af en toe even bij te pakken wordt het voor mij niet. Wil je een banjolele waarmee ook op een podium kan verschijnen, dan moet je denk ik echt doorzoeken naar een andere.

Hij is goedkoop en ziet er leuk uit.
Maar hij klinkt erg slecht, en de kwaliteit van het instrument is ook niet best.
Je kan beter iets duurdere banjolele halen.
