General

Not every ukulele in this segment has a solid top, Flight's Iris Calantas Concert ukulele does! The calantas wood, akin to mahogany, gives a full, warm sound with rich mids that immediately sets you apart from the more common laminated wood. Flight's fluorocarbon strings do the rest: bright projection, good intonation, and they enhance the character of that calantas top. With a slotted headstock, you get not only a premium look but also a finer balance in weight distribution. Thus, the rosewood fingerboard on the okoume neck plays even more nicely! With white finishes, a thin rosette and unique wood grains per copy, each Iris Calantas is slightly different. And the Flight Iris Calantas comes with a 15 mm padded gig bag, instruction booklet and sticker set, to get started right away!
