General

Flight have joined forces with Peter Moss: a well-known, well-respected player in the British ukulele-scene. The result is the Flight Peter Moss Signature Concert Ukulele: an electro-acoustic concert uke that both matches Peter's playing style and shapes a warm, full sound and defined notes to match. In addition to a deluxe, 20mm-thick padded gig bag, this Artist Signature Series model comes including stickers and an instruction booklet.

The Peter Moss Signature: Balanced Sound

Moss has previously taken a liking to Flight's Spirit models which is evidenced in his signature by the resonance chamber and the unique headstock. In terms of wood, you're looking at a carefully selected solid spruce soundboard and a solid mahogany back and sides, which combine to offer the bright projection of spruce with the warmth of mahogany.

Detailed Build

The active Double C1U pickup faithfully registers the sound of the Flight Peter Moss Signature Concert Ukulele and comes joined by neatly integrated volume and tone controls, meaning there's no chunky preamp on the side here. Meanwhile, smaller details such as the sleek Moonburst Stain finish and the rosewood fretboard finish a truly stunning build and a worthy addition to any sublime uke collection.
