Flight's Travel Series ukuleles are known for their satisfying sound, durable build and superb value for money. With this TUC model, the accomplished Slovenian brand offers a great concert size uke that, compared to the smaller soprano, has a bigger body and a longer scale length for a fuller sound and more room to grab chords. Completely dressed in black, this particular Travel Series model features a basswood top.
The Travel Ukulele Concert Series: Solid Foundation
Flight have opted to craft the back of the body as well as the neck out of ABS, rendering the uke much less sensitive to (extreme) changes in temperature and humidity. As a result, it's not just the tuning stability that gets enhanced, but the playing ease. In addition, the arched back design helps to generate more volume and a lively and punchy sound, while the neck has a wood-like texture which feels more natural than smooth plastic.
Designed Down to the Last Detail
The team over at Flight clearly have eyes for detail and have equipped this TUC model with a zero fret; an extra fret at the string nut that contributes to pure intonation. This combines with precise open-gear tuners and the smart design of the ABS bridge to guarantee solid tuning stability and, as a thoughtful bonus, Flight have even fitted a strap button so you can attach a strap for maximum playing comfort. To finish, you're getting a gig bag and a useful instruction booklet with your TUC uke.

I wanted a ukelele that wasn’t expensive and that I could cart around here there and everywhere. I also wanted something that sounded nice. After lots of research I decided ‘Flight’ was a fabulous contender when placed against the big boys of ukeleles. I am NOT disappointed at all. I have a more expensive ‘Flight’ one also and to be honest I’m happy with both tones from each one. Would thoroughly recommend this manufacturer and the tuc one I bought
