The Kala Archtop Sunburst Tenor ukulele is a striking instrument that combines vintage design with modern playing quality. Inspired by classic 1950s jazz guitars, this tenor ukulele stands out with its elegant archtop body, stylish sunburst finish and characteristic f-holes. The result is a unique instrument with a warm, rounded sound and a look that immediately catches the eye, ideal for the player looking for something special in both sound and looks. The body of this Kala is made of mahogany, which provides a full, balanced tone with a pleasant warmth. The curved spruce top enhances projection and adds depth to the sound, while the closed soundbox with f-holes produces a slightly drier, more focused sound than a traditional open ukulele. The combination of all these axes makes the Kala Archtop Tenor perfect for jazz, blues and fingerstyle, but it is equally at home in pop and singer-songwriter music. Thanks to the UK-300TR preamp you can also play amplified, volume and tone are easily controlled on the preamp itself and it also has a built-in tuner.
