General

Mahogany is a wood type with a reddish-brown colour and an average to high density. That gives this instrument its bright, open, full-bodied warm sound without any dullness. This tenor ukulele's neck and body are fully made of solid mahogany, and the rosewood fretboard provides a little warmth. The included case allows you to easily take it with you anywhere you go. The 18th fret is easy to access thanks to the innovative scalloped cutaway. The Kala Tenor Scallop Cutaway Mahogany is the perfect addition to any collection.

Kala

Kala Brand Music Company was founded by Mike Upton in the US in 2005 and produces hand-made ukuleles, U-basses and guitars in Petaluma, California. Just like they did with their ukulele basses in 2007, Kala has made a name for themselves with their signature Elite series, which has globally put the brand on the map. Kala invested a lot in creating instruments that have a distinct sound as well as comfortable playability. Since then, the company has been providing ukulele players all around the world with quality instruments at a great price.
