The body of the Kala U-Bass ukulele is completed by a Burled Tamo Ash soundboard and matching back and sides. Originating in Asia, this wood gives the instrument its unique and complex finish while ensuring plenty of warmth. This is carried through by a mahogany neck and fretted walnut fretboard that also help shape rich harmonic undertones and an outspoken sustain. And since this a stage-ready electro-acoustic ukulele, plug it in, and the integrated active pickup delivers faithful amplified sound. This bass ukulele comes with its very own deluxe gig bag.
