Ortega's Friends Series' ukuleles are based on the concept of friendship. Music brings people together creating bonds and friendships. The Ortega RFU11S features a sapele body, walnut fretboard and chrome-plated hardware. What makes this instrument truly special, however, is its extra deep body delivering richer tones and heaps of volume.

The Ortega RFU11S: Detailed for Musicians

Another bonus is the walnut bridge, which has been specially developed to keep your instrument in tune for longer periods of time and so that the strings can be easily replaced. This prevents you from having to fuss and fight to fit a new set of strings. Speaking of strings, the standard set on the RFU11S is definitely worth mentioning. Compared to most standard strings, which tend to sound rather shrill and focus too much on higher mid tones, the UWNY-44-CC strings are fully focussed on maintaining warmth. The Ortega RFU11S comes complete with an Ortega gig bag so you can take your new fingerpick-friend with you wherever you go.
