General
The Ortega RUHZ-CE-SBK Horizon Series is a concert ukulele with built-in pickup and preamp, so you can also play amplified. Tone and volume can then be easily adjusted yourself, on top of the body, and a tuner has also been incorporated so you can tune your ukulele whenever and wherever you want. Body and neck are okoume and were finished with a beautiful, black open-pore finish that leaves the structure of the wood visible. This gives this instrument a very modern look, which is enhanced by the so-called "reversed headstock". On the headstock of this ukulele, the Diecast tuners are on one side, as we often see on electric guitars. The tuner knobs are also completely black and perfectly complete the sleek design.
