Mil-Standard protection (MIL-STD 810H)

As you’d expect from the SKB iSeries, this is an injection-moulded, Mil-Standard waterproof case. The case is made from ultra-high-strength polypropylene copolymer resin and features a gasket-sealed construction. The result: a water- and dust-tight, submersible case compliant with MIL-STD 810H. It is also designed to withstand corrosion and impact damage, and is resistant to UV, solvents and fungus (MIL-STD 810H). It also features an automatic pressure relief valve (MIL-STD 810H), which is useful when dealing with changes in altitude and pressure.

Smart details for everyday use

In practice, it’s the details that make the difference. The Trigger Latch® System ensures quick and reliable closure, whilst the moulded-in hinge is built for long-term use. The snap-down rubber over-moulded cushion grip handle fits comfortably in the hand and folds away, so there are no protruding parts during assembly or storage.
