The SKB 4U Injection-Moulded 13” Deep Rack Frame is a standalone internal rack frame for the SKB Fly Rack system. It’s ideal if you already have a matching iSeries Fly Rack case and want to pre-assemble multiple 4U frames with equipment, so you can swap them out quickly and deploy them straight away. The top and bottom are injection-moulded to keep the whole unit lightweight, whilst the front and rear feature threaded steel rack rails. The frame comes with rack screws featuring a 10-32 thread.

Quick swapping and modular stacking

This frame is designed for a workflow where you don’t have to keep fiddling with screws in your case, but can simply slot in or swap out a fully equipped 4U frame. Thanks to the rubber feet, you can stack multiple frames stably to build a modular system, for example in a studio or installation setup. The rail-to-rail depth of 13 inches (33.02 cm) is compatible with 13” deep Fly Rack configurations, ensuring your rack equipment sits securely in place, mounted to both the front and rear rails.

Please note: use only with the correct iSeries case

This 4U rack frame is intended as part of the Fly Rack system and is not designed to be transported on its own, without a suitable iSeries case. This specific model is compatible with the SKB iSeries Fly Rack case 3i-2217M124U. If you use the frame in a fixed installation, you will particularly benefit from its lightweight construction, stackability and sturdy steel rails. Please note that separate rack frames are not covered by warranty.
