Create professional-sounding recordings with the IK Multimedia iRig Mic Studio (Silver). This compact studio microphone features a sensitive 1-inch condenser capsule, and it's suited for a wide range of devices. Connect it to a PC or Mac with the USB cable, or to a compatible Android or iOS device (see specs) via the USB-OTG or Lightning cable. A 30-pin USB cable for older iOS products is separately available. The IK Multimedia iRig Mic Studio (Silver) is the perfect choice for vocalists, producers, radio broadcasters and voice actors who want to create warm and detailed recordings, be it while they're on the road or at home.
iRig Mic Studio Silver: compact and complete
This microphone (which is smaller than an iPhone) has a high maximum SPL of 133 dB, and that means that you can record subtle vocals as well as loud guitar amps. In order to ensure the right recording level for a sound source, you can adjust the input level with the practical gain knob on the housing of the iRig Mic Studio. The multi-colour LED indicates the sound level of the incoming signal. At the rear you'll find a headphone output (with individual volume control) for the direct monitoring of recordings.
Android and iOS
Are you unsure about which recording app to use on your Android or iOS device? Not to worry, IK Multimedia provide free apps for the iRig Mic Studio. If you own an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, you can use VocaLive to create multi-track recordings and add effects in real time (twelve vocal effects are available). iRig Recorder is a recording app that's compatible with Android as well as iOS, and EZ Voice is specifically programmed for a sing-along with the songs from your music collection. Furthermore, the iRig Mic Studio is compatible with a wide range of DAWs for Mac and PC.
