General

A pretty special example of a USB microphone, the Boya BY-PM500 can be flipped between cardioid and omnidirectional polar patterns and records in high, 24-bit, 48kHz quality to Android devices as well as computers. Select omnidirectional mode to record sound come from all the way around the mic, or select cardioid mode to filter out any background noise for a more focussed recording. Meanwhile, a set of headphones can be plugged into the microphone for direct, latency-free monitoring using the fitted 3.5mm output complete with dedicated volume control. The Boya BY-PM500 comes complete with a desktop stand that can be adjusted to find the perfect angle.
