Simply hook it up to your computer via USB-C without the need for any drivers or extra software, adjust the microphone-mounted controls for the input level and headphone level (since this microphone also comes fitted with a headphone output that supports direct, latency-free monitoring), and start work immediately. The Yamaha YCM01U also comes as part of a complete pack, including a desktop tripod stand and a 3/8 inch screw threaded mounting point that's compatible with any regular microphone stand, so you can mike-up and record acoustic instruments as well as vocals and speech.
