The Yamaha VA5S Viola is a complete viola set for the serious starter. This viola is built from high-quality materials and each one is finished by hand, so you can count on consistent quality. The sound box is made up of a spruce top with maple sides and back. The whole is finished in a specially developed varnish, giving the wood a chance to vibrate. Her result is an instrument with a warm basic sound that brings out the dynamics in your playing.

Yamaha has chosen an ebony fingerboard for a smooth playing experience. The tuning keys and chinrest are also made of this high-quality wood. Another important detail is the Witter Ultra tailpiece with four fine tuners. This is because it allows you to easily tune the viola. Apart from the violin, this Yamaha VA5S set includes a lightweight case with shoulder straps, a bow made of Brazilian wood and Pirastro Piranito rosin. Ik heb diverse snaar instrumenten, en heb deze allemaal met plezier kunnen stemmen, zowel met bij geleverde klik-on sensor, met de ingebouwde microfoon en de line-verbinding, ook had ik een stemvork gebruikt om te zien of dat de uitlening waar is, en dat is het, m.a.w., ik ben er zeer tevreden mee!,
