General
The Stagg EVN 4/4 MRD is a full-size electric violin with a maple body and a metallic red finish. It has a built-in preamp with a volume control, a 2-band EQ, dual outputs and an aux in. Via the outputs, it's possible to connect the violin to an amplifier, mixer, or a set of headphones. The solid maple body has a stylish S design yet plays and feels just like a standard acoustic violin. It comes with a number of accessories including a soft case, a bow, rosin, stereo headphones, and a 9V battery so that you can play it straight away.

Op zich klinkt de viool niet slecht, hij is massief en daardoor zwaar op de schouder, maar dat zijn wel meer electrische violen. Maar er zijn wel twee vervelende designfouten in dit model.
1 De krans is te rond en te breed afgewerkt, waardoor schoudersteunen slecht 'pakken' en niet goed passen.
2 Er zit geen aan/uit knop op. De enige manier om de battterij te sparen is die er telkens na het spelen uit te halen.
