The Roland VT-12 is a black vocal trainer for both beginning and advanced vocalists. The Vocal Trainer has a compact size, enabling you to easily take it with you. That way you can work on your vocal skills wherever you are, be it at home, in the studio, or even right before a gig. The Roland VT-12 helps you warm up your voice as well! The Vocal Trainer offers a number of internal audio exercises. Additional functions, such as a metronome, various recording options and voice exercises, make it fun and challenging to develop your singing skills.

Pitch and tempo
As a vocalist, you are not only supposed to hit the right notes, but to keep the right pace as well. For that reason, the VT-12 is equipped with a practical metronome that allows you to work on your sense of rhythm. You can simply select a tempo manually, or in real-time by means of the Tap Tempo functionality. The pitch functionality and the metronome can be used at the same time. Would you like to practise for a duet? The Roland VT-12BK can help you out. The intelligent pitch meter is able to detect two different voices at the same time, displaying a separate pitch for each. Singing lessons and exercises
The included "Vocal Workouts for the Contemporary Singer" and the internal audio exercises will help you take your singing skills to a higher level. The exercises start with the basic principles of singing, such as breathing techniques. In addition to the exercises, the Roland VT-12Bk also offers a warming-up function, which includes glissandi, descending fifth runs and other techniques. During the exercises, your part is automatically recorded, so you can review your own performance at a later time. That is not all, however! Connect an MP3 or CD player to the Rec input of the Vocal Trainer and you can record any piece of music you want to practise. There are ten memory locations with a maximum recording time of 10 minutes each.
