The much-loved, prize-winning sound of a Crying Tone Wah has been wrapped in a more lightweight pedal unit and slapped with a far more friendly price tag - all courtesy of Electro Harmonix. The American-made EHX Wailer Wah still retains all the quality of the classic, treating guitarists to warm and old-school, responsive wah in return for a fraction of the price.
Wah?
While affordable, the Wailer Wah comes with some pretty deluxe features, including a true bypass circuit that keeps your original guitar sound fully intact when the pedal is switched off. Power this tight little adventure of a wah pedal using the included 9V battery or hook it up to a standard 9V power supply.

Elle manque un peu dans les middle mais au moins contrairement à la cry baby elle ne vous explosera pas les oreilles dans les aigus. Niveau volume elle reste stable selon la position voulue. Je n'ai constaté aucun buzz ni souffle en 6 heures d'utilisation. Le boîtier est léger mais robuste et les pièces de bonne facture.
Une pile est fournie avec d'origine, l'emballage est soigné. Le manuel (en anglais) est très succinct mais est à la portée de tous.
Je joue depuis 15 ans j'ai déjà eu 2 wah. Une cry baby et une bad horsie 2, celle ci est vraiment la plus polyvalente sans pour autant être la plus plate et passe partout. Un futur standard ?
