Is it a wah? Is it a volume pedal? No! It's the Hotone Vow Press! This compact pedal offers three features in once compact housing. First of all, the volume mode has an active design that keeps the signal transfer optimal at all times, even at low volumes. Secondly, the wah-wah part of this pedal is based on the original CryBaby, so you're guaranteed a wide sweep with a nice and powerful sound. It's a great addition in any genre, from funk to metal. Finally, there's the pièce de résistance: the V/W (VOW) mode, which combines the volume and wah modes into one.
The Hotone Press Series
The Press series is actually the odd one out in Hotone's range of products, as the company is better known for its Skyline micro effect pedals and the Nano Legacy amplifiers. What both series of pedals have in common, though, is that they're both incredibly compact. Unlike a stomp box, however, a foot pedal needs to be a certain size for comfortable use, which is why the Press pedals are slightly bigger than the average Hotone unit. Thanks to its versatile, compact and multi-purpose design, this pedal is sure to become an indispensable part of your setup in no time!

Wrote the following about Hotone Vow Press switchable volume/wah-wah effects pedal
Ik ben al een jaar of 4 op zoek naar een pedaal met deze functies.
Het ging mij om het volume gedeelte dat ik het minimum kan afstellen.
Dus voor slag gitaar pedaal open dicht een volume boost voor solo's en de wah is dan ook op solo volume.
Het werkt prima en de sweep van de wah is erg mooi of het als een crybaby klink weet ik niet maar ik ben er zeer tevreden mee.
Er zijn voor mij wel min punten:
De grootste is dat je echt een goede adapter moet hebben.
Zodra je de wah inschakelt en je heb geen goede adapter krijg je een vervelende brom wat het voor mij dan niet bruikbaar maakt.
met volume is dat niet het geval die blijft brom en ruis vrij.
Ik gebruik nu een batterij en daar is het nu ook mee opgelost.
Ik denk dat ik een accu ga halen er voor.
Het is meer een voorkeur dan een echt minpunt.
Misschien hadden ze ook beter met infrarood kunnen werken in plaats van een potentiometer nu zitten er draaiende delen in en plastic wat stuk kan gaan.
En het andere is dat het eigenlijk gewoon te klein is.
Soms moet je balanceren op je benen als je net even niet goed staat en als je er teveel op steunt springt je wah weer naar volume.
Doordat het zo klein is heb je minder controle ook al ben je het een beetje gewend dat hij zo klein is.
Het is gewoon minder dan dat je een groot pedaal gebruikt
Geef mij deze features in een groter pedaal en dan gaat deze bij mij in de verkoop maar tot die tijd kan ik
zeker wel van deze pedaal genieten.
