Xvive's U2 is one of the most compact wireless guitar systems on the market. It includes a transmitter that plugs into your guitar and a receiver that plugs into your amplifier. Both devices are rechargeable and a USB cable is included for that purpose. The system operates at 2.4 GHz to ensure crystal-clear broadcasting over a distance of up to 30 metres and the batteries last up to 5 hours on a full charge.

Excellent service provided by Bax Music; From placing the order to receipt of goods took less than 24 hours, even though the item came from the Netherlands via Germany to the UK!
I have delayed writing a review until now, as whilst the quality of the sound was excellent there was an unwanted interfering tone of about 600Hz which varied in amplitude as I moved around or changed the angle of the Xvive U2 transmitter that was plugged directly into a C-ducer contact microphone system belt-pack control box.
In fairness, Xvive state on their website that Active pickups and pickups with microphones are not supported.
I have now however resolved the issue by assembling a short length of screened audio cable with a plug and socket which I insert between the Xvive U2 and the C-ducer belt-pack to ensure that the two active devices are not adjacent and in direct contact. With this physical separation the Xvive U2 now works perfectly without any interference!
During my investigations I contacted Xvive in China via email and received a prompt reply to my enquiry; Again another excellent service!

Received on time from The Netherlands. The system was purchased for use with semi-acoustic ukeleles fitted with passive under-saddle piezo pickups. The units work perfectly over a ten metre range (the maximum that I have tried or would want) though I am not moving around relative to the amplifier. As a bonus, their use cured an earth-leak hum when a pedal board was used on the system. Neat and unobtrusive I would certainly recommend them - though their four channel frequencies limit the number of players who could use them when playing together.

Een heel fijn apparaatje. Klein, oplaadbaar, goede ontvangst, geen vertraging, keuze uit 4 kanalen. Wat wil je nog meer...
Nou dat zal ik je vertellen: Een accu die na 2,5jr het ook nog langer dan 20 minuten volhoudt. Geweldig apparaatje maar nu al compleet onbruikbaar en kan dus de prullenbak in. Ik vind het erg jammer wat ik was er zeer tevreden over.

Trop cool ! Bonne qualité, bon son pas déformé, très simple à utiliser....Ca marche comme sur des roulettes. Suis vraiment ravi. Je le conseille à tous les musiciens qui veulent investir dans une gamme de prix très raisonnable. Faudra voir le changement de piles quand le moment sera venu.

Fijnste draadloze systeem dat ik ooit gehad heb! Neemt ook nauwelijks ruimte in beslag, het is wat mij betreft makkelijker om dit systeem mee te nemen in plaats van een snoer, raakt niet in de knoop. Ik heb 1 keer een probleem gehad met de ontvangst toen ik een gast optreden deed bij een band met een andere gitarist met een Line 6 wireless systeem. We hadden geen tijd om te experimenteren met kanalen switchen op onze systemen, dus heeft de andere gitarist toen maar snel een snoer in zijn gitaar geprikt. Verder niets dan lof, hij klinkt uitstekend en heeft op het toneel geen merkbare vertraging. Minstens zo goed als mijn oude Line 6 Relay systeem.

Toen ik dacht dat een "gewoon" draadloos systeem al een hele vooruitgang was, lekker rondlopen terwijl de rest van de band aan de grond genageld staat, kwam de Xvive U2 in beeld.
Dit is helemaal het einde want nu ben ik ook een ontvanger met trafo en kabel naar de versterker kwijt!
Even wel in de gaten houden hoe lang je er mee bezig bent want opladen (via de usb kabel) blijft natuurlijk nodig!
Een aanrader voor elke gitarist die niet stil kan blijven staan!
Ik geef een 10 met een griffel en een zoen van de juffrouw.
Dit is helemaal het einde want nu ben ik ook een ontvanger met trafo en kabel naar de versterker kwijt!

Zeer vaak slaat de ontvanger op tilt en is er geen verbinding meer. Wanneer de ontvanger op tilt slaat blijft het verbindingsledje wel branden maar er is geen verbinding meer. Op mijn Ibanez elektrisch accoustisch gitaar werkt hij helemaal niet en slaat vrijwel direct op tilt. Erg onbetrouwbaar dus, ik zou er niet mee on stage durven.
