General
Xvive's U2 is one of the most compact wireless guitar systems on the market. It consists of a transmitter that plugs into your guitar and a receiver that plugs into your amplifier. Both devices are rechargeable and a USB cable is included for that purpose. The system operates at 2.4 GHz to ensure crystal-clear broadcasting over a distance of up to 30 metres and the batteries last up to 5 hours on a full charge.

Ik gebruik deze al een tijdje in mijn studio omdat ik een hekel heb aan kabels die altijd in de weg liggen
Helaas heb je wel veel drop-outs als er ook veel andere draadloze apparaten in de buurt zijn
De nieuwere A58 heeft daar veel minder last van
Dynamiek van je gitaargeluid is wel minder goed dan met een goede kabel

Tot nog toe werkt ie zonder problemen met geen enkele vertraging. Ik ben benieuwd hoe het gaat in een omgeving met nog meer signalen in de lucht. Vooralsnog dus dik tevreden. En ook nu was de levering weel snel.

Prima systeem. Nu hoef ik tijdens mijn muzieklessen op school niet steeds op te letten op het snoer en opstakels onderweg. Ik kan nu direct uitleg geven aan leerlingen tijdens de bandcoaching, zonder mijn gitaar weg te hoeven leggen en de versterker uit te schakelen. Dit biedt mij veel meer bewegingsvrijheid en bespaart enorm veel tijd!

Helaas moet ik terugkomen op mijn eerdere review. Na een aantal keer gebruikt te hebben geeft het apparaat storing in een aantal frequenties van mijn akoestische gitaar. Ook als ik het geluid op mijn Koptelefoon beluister is het scheller dan bij een kwaliteit instrument kabel. Voor mij voorlopig geen draadloos systeem.

IK heb hem gekocht op de open dag van Bax. Ik moet zeggen: geen teleurstelling. Werkte onmiddellijk, simpel om te doen en prima. Geen ruis om over naar huis te spreken, overbrugt meer dan voldoende afstand, en het hebben van geen vast kabel is toch wel een hele verbetering. Prima. kijken hoe het zich houdt op de langere termijn, maar tot nog toe geen enkele problemen, ook niet qua batterij duur.
