General
For decades, Shure has been steadily building an excellent name for itself. Boasting pro-grade quality and performance, their vocal microphones, wireless transmitters and wireless receivers are used for a wide range of live events. This particular wireless system combines a compact BLX4 receiver and a BLX2 transmitter with a PG58 microphone head. Setting up a connection between the two is easy, so even beginners will love working with this fuss-free wireless handheld system.
The Shure BLX2 Handheld Transmitter With PG58 Microphone Capsule
The Shure BLX-2 handheld microphone has a durable construction, is conveniently lightweight and can run for up to 14 hours on two AA batteries. The PG58 microphone capsule, meanwhile, ensures crisp vocals and speech. This robust dynamic microphone has a cardioid pickup pattern, is insensitive to feedback and supports a maximum wireless range of up to 90 metres.
The Shure BLX4 Receiver
The BLX-4 is a compact, lightweight receiver that comes equipped with far-reaching internal antennas so you won't have to endlessly rotate and adjust the antennas to optimise signal reception. It's super-simple to set up thanks to the Shure QuickScan function which automatically establishes a reliable connection between your handheld transmitter and the receiver. So the output can be routed to a mixer, the receiver has been outfitted with both an XLR and a jack output.
