When it comes to vocal microphones and wireless systems, Shure have built a good reputation for themselves over the last few decades. This is why you will find their systems nearly anywhere, from small rehearsal spaces to the largest festivals. The Shure BLX series is designed to be an affordable, professional-sounding wireless solution for vocals, speech and music. This wireless set consists of a BLX2 transmitter with PG58 microphone head and a BLX4R receiver that can be built into your 19-inch rack or flightcase. The set is very easy to set up and all data can be read from the clear display of the receiver.

Shure BLX2 handheld transmitter with PG58 microphone capsule

The Shure BLX2 is a handheld microphone transmitter that provides a great deal of reliability. It has a durable construction, is lightweight and sends its signal to the receiver for up to 14 hours on the power of merely two AA batteries. The BLX2 is equipped with a PG58 microphone capsule, that ensures that vocals as well as speech are well recorded. The cardioid pickup pattern of this dynamic microphone head ensures that it is insensitive to feedback.

Shure BLX4R rack-mountable receiver

The BLX4R has a clear LCD display with information about the audio and transmitter status and two powerful, removable antennas. These receive the signal of the BLX2 transmitter at a distance of up to 90 metres. Thanks to Shure QuickScan, an available channel can be automatically found via the press of a button to ensure a clear connection.
