Shure's BLX-24 - Beta 58A set includes an analogue wireless handheld microphone and receiver that delivers professional sound at an excellent price. The BLX2 handheld transmitter is fitted with a Beta 58A microphone head, is easily synced with and sends signal to the compact BLX4 receiver using the UHF band. Every component of the set boasts a rugged yet lightweight design.

Shure's BLX2 is a sturdy UHF handheld transmitter with a lightweight, hard plastic housing and an impressive maximum range of 100 yards. two AA batteries will power the microphone for up to 14 hours. The BLX2 transmitter is fitted with a Beta 58A microphone head - a popular mic, often used at concerts and festivals due to its outstanding audio characteristics. The Beta 58A capsule has a super-cardioid pickup pattern and a wide frequency range, which means it's capable of beautifully capturing your voice without any feedback.

Shure BLX4 Receiver

Of course, a transmitter is nothing without a receiver. To go with your BLX2 microphone/transmitter, Shure has included a BLX4: a compact receiver with powerful internal antennas that don't require any manual adjustments to ensure optimal reception. Shure's QuickScan function - which is capable of finding a free channel, even if there's a lot of bandwidth traffic - ensures a reliable wireless connection between the handheld transmitter and receiver. The output signal of your receiver can be sent to a PA mixer via an XLR or 1/4" jack connector.
