Simply plug the included Shure SLXD3 Snap-On Transmitter into any microphone with a 3-pin XLR connection and convert everything from dynamic vocal microphones so they can be used for interviews and panel discussions, to shotgun microphones, removing the issues caused by cable-noise and supporting a shorter boom arm, without fear of the cable getting in shot.

The SLXD5 Receiver

The included SLXD5 receiver is no bigger than a beltpack and can be powered via two AA batteries or the compatible Shure SB 903 rechargeable battery (not included), so it doesn't even need to be plugged into a power socket. For a neat one-person setup, this receiver can also be secured to a camera using the included cold-shoe mount.
