General

As a wireless microphone user, you can leave your bodypacks, batteries and terrible amounts of cabling at home from now on! The Samson Airline Micro Earset doesn't need them! The transmitter and microphone are directly connected and are comfortably worn around the ear in the shape of an adjustable compact ear set. Its design is moisture-proof and omnidirectional, so that you can move freely in your role as an actor, presenter or fitness instructor.

The signal of the Airline Micro Earset

The transmitter that communicates on frequency E3 in this set (864.600 MHz), can be used at a range of up to 100 metres from the receiver. Interference is avoided by the tone squelch and auto mute functions. Connect the receiver to your mixer or active speaker, for instance, via the 3.5mm output. To this end, a 3.5 mm to 6.3 mm (large jack) cable is included. Furthermore, the AirLine Micro Earset is delivered including windshields and a carrying pouch for the entire set.

Charging the microphone transmitter and receiver

The AR2 receiver can be used separately or can be placed firmly in the AR2D docking station. In order to charge the receiver or power it during use, you can connect the accessory adapter to the USB DC input of the AR2 or AR2D. Thanks to the two USB connectors at the end of the adapter cable, you can charge the transmitter at the same time. The battery pack of the AH2 transmitter can be used continuously for 5/6 hours and the battery of the receiver 7/8 hours, before needing to recharge.

• Please note: this system operates on a fixed UHF frequency of 864.500 MHz (Samson have labelled this frequency as E3). If you are using multiple systems simultaneously, these all need to transmit on their own frequency. For Airline systems, you can choose between E1, E2, E3 and E4.
