It's these type of situations that the Shure BLX14-CVL wireless mic set is made for, as it comes with the CVL Centraverse lavalier condenser microphone. Additionally, this set contains the BLX1 bodypack transmitter and BLX4 wireless receiver.

CVL lavalier microphone

Once again, Shure have created a high-quality microphone that can be discreetly attached to your clothing. This small lavalier mic has a cardioid pickup pattern and therefore suppresses ambient noises and focuses mainly on your voice. The frequency response of this microphone is attuned to the human voice and clearly reproduces its frequencies. The CVL Centraverse lavalier can be connected to your BXL beltpack via the TA4F connector, after which you can fasten the microphone to your clothing with a clip and you will be clearly intelligible.

BLX4 receiver

The BLX4 receiver is an easy-to-use wireless receiver. It only takes one press of a button to find the best available frequency. All you have to do is set the transmitter to the same frequency and your wireless set is good to go. The antennas of a wireless system need to be well-attuned. for optimal signal output and reception, which is why the BLX4 has perfectly attuned internal antennas. What's more, no longer will you have to worry about damaging your aerials during transport.
