General

The Celestion FTR18-4080FD is a 1000-watt woofer made of ferrite, which, with its 18-inch diameter and frequency range of 30 Hz to 2.5 kHz, is excellent for use as a subwoofer. It also has a 4-inch diameter voice coil, an 8 ohm impedance and a sensitivity of 97 dB. The impregnated, weatherproof paper cone is reinforced with glass fibre and fixed in a double suspension.
