General
Right up until the dawn of the virtual effect, the virtual instrument, and the virtual synthesizer, studios of yore were rammed wall-to-ceiling with racks loaded with synthesizer modules and effect units. Since humans seem to like things to be a little more hands-on, the age of the module is on its way back, along with the age of outboard studio gear. The Innox INA SR6 is a metal-constructed, 6U-high 19" rack built to provide a solid and strong foundation for building a little wall of neat and manageable outboard equipment. This rack comes with front-fitted rack rails, a 290mm installation depth, and can even be mounted to the underside of a desk using the compatible mount-pack (not included).

Bijlage bij de vorige review: in deze productreeks zou het leuk zijn om een 10" versie te hebben (racks, trays....), voor wie (net als ik) nogal wat half rack spullen heeft.

Makkelijk te monteren, stevig, goed gelakt. Twee kleine opmerkingen: ik had graag achteraan rails gehad, de gaatjes daarvoor hadden voorzien kunnen worden, OK om de rails apart te kopen, niet iedereen heeft die nodig. Ik wil er bv een strip stopcontacten monteren. Ik heb een behoorlijke werkplaats, en kan de nodige gaatjes makkelijk zelf boren, maar niet iedereen kan dit. Tweede puntje, de moertjes hadden zelfborgend mogen zijn, of er hadden veerringetjes bij mogen zitten. Ik heb het schroefwerk geborgd met een druppeltje Loctite.

Mooi rack voor een correcte prijs. Gemakkelijk te monteren. Enkel spijtig dat de accessoires niet inbegrepen zijn en je deze appart moet bestellen ( gelukkig is er een combinatievoordeel).
