General

This 8-inch midrange woofer bears the name Celestion TF-0818MR and has a 1.75-inch voice coil. This product from well-known speaker brand Celestion is made of ferrite, rated at 100 watts RMS and has an impedance of 8 ohms. Furthermore, with the TF0818 MR you can count on a sensitivity of up to 99 dB and a frequency response of 800 Hz to 5 kHz. The latter makes it strong in the mid-range, making the TF 0818 MR ideally suited for use in three-way PA systems, together with a bass woofer and a 1" driver. The sealed back of the chassis simplifies speaker cabinet construction by eliminating the need for a separate midrange enclosure.
