General
The CB-60SCE is one of the latest additions to Fender's versatile and affordable Classic Design series. This electro-acoustic bass guitar features a narrow neck and has an Easy-to-Play neck profile. Both these features, as well as the rolled fretboard edges along the 22 vintage-style frets, improve the CB-60SCE's overall playability.
CB-60SCE: wood types and sound
A solid spruce top ensures plenty of volume and brightness while the mahogany sides, back and neck add richness and warmth to the sound. When you need even more volume, you can simply plug this electro-acoustic bass in to an amplifier thanks to the built-in Fishman CD preamp that features an on-board tuner too.

Played well straight out of the box. The fishman pick up gives this bass lovely tone and it has a tuner etc all built in which are fine.
You will not be disappointed by this bass, and I have gigged in a band all over Europe with it for our first set.
