The Thomastik AB344 Acoustic Bass strings have a nylon core wrapped in phosphor bronze winding to ensure maximum response whether coupled with an acoustic bass or solid-body electric models with a piezo pickup. The unique Nyloncore construction gives these strings a lighter and more flexible feel than more traditional roundwound acoustic bass strings and pulls a smooth and organic, double-bass-style sound out of your instrument. Gauges: .041 to .086.

These strings may be expensive, but there are no better for your acoustic bass. I’ve used them for over 15 years and would never consider any other. They are very light gauge so I’ve had to slacken the truss rod a lot, and the G string can “roll” a bit, but after a while you don’t notice it. Try them you won’t be disappointed.

Deze snaren heb ik gekocht voor mijn nieuwe Takamine akoestische bas. De standaard snaren die er af fabriek op zaten klonken erg slecht (te veel bijgeluiden en een scherpe metaal-achtige toon). Deze klinken erg warm en laten de bas goed tot zijn recht komen.

Ik hou van de zachte en warme klank die deze snaren op m'n Fender Kingman produceren, speelt lekker makkelijk wegens de dunne snaren.

Fijne, flexibele snaren die niet teveel bijgeluiden geven. Mooi gedefinieerd geluid met nadruk op warmte. Prijs/kwaliteit verhouding in orde. De moeite waard.
