Furch Vintage Pure OOMs-EM a Engelmann Spruce x African Mahogany

General

The Furch Vintage Pure OOMs-EM a is one of the latest models in the revamped Vintage Series. This model introduces the new OOMs body shape, based on the much-loved OOM platform but featuring a shorter scale length of 624 mm for added playing comfort and a relaxed playing experience. The combination of a solid Engelmann spruce top and solid African mahogany for the back and sides produces a particularly well-balanced tone with plenty of dynamics, clear articulation and a natural warmth. As a result, this guitar is equally at home with fingerstyle players and versatile singer-songwriters.

Classic tonewood combination with great expressiveness

The solid Engelmann spruce top is renowned for its quick response, rich overtones and sensitive dynamic range. Combined with the solid African mahogany, this creates an open and musical tone that responds immediately to the player’s nuances. The new OOMs body retains the balanced tonal characteristics of the traditional OOM design, but adds a more supple string tension thanks to the shorter scale length. As a result, the guitar feels comfortable during long playing sessions and offers plenty of control for both subtle fingerpicking and more powerful strumming.

Authentic Vintage Series design

As part of the Vintage Pure series, this model focuses on pure acoustic performance and traditional construction principles. The all-solid construction allows the instrument to resonate freely and ensures that the tone continues to develop as the guitar is played. The compact OOMs body combines comfort with a surprisingly mature projection and definition. Thanks to the shorter scale length of 624 mm, the neck feels accessible for a wide range of playing styles. This high-quality European guitar offers an authentic vintage playing experience with modern playability and a refined finish.
