Furch Vintage Pure OOMs-MM a All African Mahogany

General

The Furch Vintage Pure OOMs-MM a is one of the latest models in the revamped Vintage Series and combines traditional construction principles with modern playability. This model features the new OOMs body shape, based on the popular OOM concept but with a shorter scale length of 624 mm. This makes the guitar feel instantly familiar and offers a smoother string action than comparable models with a standard scale length. Thanks to its all-solid African mahogany construction, this guitar delivers a warm, balanced tone with strong midrange presence and a natural dynamic response.

Built entirely from African mahogany

The Vintage Pure OOMs-MM a utilises solid African mahogany for both the top and the back and sides. This classic wood is renowned for its warm character, quick response and excellent projection in the midrange. The result is a direct and musical tone that is particularly well-suited to singer-songwriters, fingerstyle players and guitarists who appreciate a natural and balanced tone. The all-solid construction also ensures rich resonance and a sound that continues to develop as the instrument ages and is played more intensively.

Comfortable playability and versatile character

The new OOMs body combines the comfort of a more compact body shape with a surprisingly mature sound volume and excellent definition. The shorter scale length of 624 mm reduces string tension, making chords and complex fingerings feel effortless. At the same time, the guitar retains the versatility and balance that make the OOM platform so popular. This makes the Vintage Pure OOMs-MM suitable for a wide range of playing styles, from subtle fingerpicking to rhythm strumming. A high-quality choice for guitarists seeking an authentic all-mahogany tone in a modern and comfortable design.
