This sloped-shoulder dreadnought model comes retro-dressed in traditional colours and sports a vintage-style soundhole rosette and slick Guild Script logo stamped on the headstock, paying homage to the antique instruments played all the way back in the 1920s. A Rich History

This guitar also features the forceful projection and rich resonance of a solid spruce soundboard. This model is part of the Westerly Collection: a series of guitars that builds on Guild's rich history. Back in 1967, Guild moved its production to Westerly, Rhode Island where they started honing and perfecting their approach to building guitars. Thanks in part to the highly skilled Guild luthiers, it didn't take long for the factory to be recognised for its well-designed and solidly-built acoustic guitars and today, this DS-240 faithfully proves that not much has changed since.
