General

Well aware of the reputation of some of their vintage guitars, Guild present a fresh take on the F-40 acoustic guitar. Its predecessor, the F-48 Navarre, was built between 1972 and 1976 and has been become a rare find. Thankfully, Guild have used the same traditional techniques to build this modern model - as well as the same woods. The solid spruce soundboard combines with a solid mahogany back and sides to shape a stunningly warm sound and ample sustain, which is beautifully boosted in terms of volume and projection thanks to the jumbo body.

Vintage Look

Guild has also gone back in to time to polish off the looks of the F-40. From the tortoiseshell scratchplate to the Vintage Open Gear tuners, this guitar exudes vintage class and tradition. Even the bone nut and bone saddle have carved by hand, and the saddle has been compensated to ensure extra-accurate intonation. The F-40 shines in every possible way and will keep any guitarist busy for years. And, so you can keep the instrument in mint condition, Guild even include a deluxe hard-case equipped with a built-in humidifier.

Vraiment une guitare d exception! Ultra Légère, spectre de fréquences riche et équilibré entre aigus et graves boen présents. Le son est doux,chaud et cristallin. Le manche est aussi comfortable qu'une électrique et la finition globale est parfaite ! J ai choisi la traditionnal avec son manche en 3 parties et non la standard , je ne regrette pas du tout. Une guitare digne du custom shop d autres marques !
