The HK Audio L5 112 FA is part of the Linear 5 series. This series comprises of high-quality speakers for numerous setups and situations. The L5 112 FA is both a satellite and full-range speaker in one. The relatively small size and weight of the cabinet's construction is perfectly attuned to the power of the built-in components so that it can still produce high-quality sound at hefty volumes.

Technical features of the L5 112 FA speaker

Since a set of two is already a full-fledged PA system, the L5 112 FA speaker is perfect for both small and big events. Just think of what you can do by simply adding a subwoofer or two! Moreover, these speakers feature a safety circuit (with PTCs and pilot light) giving you nothing but reliability and superb sound.

Equalizer and safety features

A built-in, adjustable EQ allows you to tweak the speaker's tone to your liking and according to the space. At smaller venues, you can bring out the high frequencies for better dispersion, while at larger venues you can attune the built-in gain and EQ to the size of your stack. When you use optional subwoofers, the simple switches allow for a sound that is perfectly in tune. This way, the speaker sounds less aggressive, since the sub(s) can take care of that. The L5 112A is equipped with a 12-inch woofer, a 1-inch driver and a powerful 1,000 Watt amplifier module. 

The appearance

The rugged-looking grille of the complete speaker series is right in line with the overall look of the HK audio speakers, making them recognisable from a distance. These features are also functional, however. The subtle speaker foam on the back of the grille looks sleek and protects your speaker from moisture and confetti at the same time - making sure your speaker remains in prime condition. The MDF/birch plywood housing is sturdy and gives this speaker excellent bass reproduction.
