If the regular Mackie Thump212 doesn't meet all of your demands, then the enhanced Thump212XT edition loaded with Bluetooth, intelligent voicing presets and M10 rigging points no doubt will. Backed up by a 1,400-Watt class-D amplifier, this 12" full-range speaker features Music Ducking and Feedback Eliminator options. The Bluetooth interface can be used to stream music, control the speaker wirelessly or couple a second Thump212XT for stereo sound or a dual-zone configuration. A mere push of a button is all it takes to activate one of the four voicing modes (Music, Live, Club and Monitor) and Mackie have polished the Thump212XT off with Indoor and Outdoor performance modes so it can be set up as quickly and optimally as possible.

De instellingen van de speaker zijn makkelijk te regelen via de app, en je zou daar ook muziek mee af kunnen spelen. Het bereik van de app is circa 20 meter. Uiteraard is de muziek dan niet zo zuiver dan als je het bedraad zou doen.
Het enigste nadeel vind ik dat als je in een kleinere ruimte staat, een soort low-noise van de speakers af kom, wat bij stilte hoorbaar is. Vandaar de 1 ster minder.
Voor de rest is het een topspeaker en zeker een aanrader!
