The Elements EA600 by HK Audio is an amplifier module that weighs just 2.75 kilos. This amp module can power two passive HK Audio E110 Subs or a single passive subwoofer with two E435 mid/treble components. It is the perfect amplifier for an Elements sound pillar as it becomes part of the pillar itself via E-Connect, allowing you to make various different setups.
Characteristics
The amplifier pairs beautifully with a subwoofer for the low frequencies, allowing for a large frequency range - that can go properly deep - from a single sound pillar. The continuous power capacity of the EA600 is 150 watts RMS. It is supported by a 600W class-D amplifier (4 ohms) and has a nominal impedance of 16 ohms. Additionally, the amplifier has a crossover frequency of 140 Hz with a 12 dB filtering.
E-Connect
E-Connect allows you to make the most outrageous setups with the greatest of ease. The EA600 amplifier is equipped with both an E-connect input and output. The output is on the top, allowing the amp to support and drive a sound pillar, whereas the input of the EA600 is on the bottom, allowing it to be supported by a stand or an Elements subwoofer. An Elements sub is by-to-by an excellent base for a sound pillar.
