General

This compact 2-way installation monitor from LD Systems is ideal for bars, restaurants, shops, but can also be used as a studio monitor. Powered by a class AB amplifier and driven by an 8-inch woofer, the speaker delivers up to 80 watts RMS. That's powerful enough to fill average rooms with enough frequency violence to give you a headache. The XLR output on the rear can be used to loop sound, thus linking multiple speakers to create an array that generates the same sound. Balanced sound and ample dynamics are provided by the wide frequency range that runs from 50 Hz to 20 kHz in combination with the aforementioned 8-inch woofer and 1-inch compression driver. The monitor is also protected against tweeter overload and there is a switchable 'power saving' mode that turns off the speaker after 3 minutes of inactivity. An M6 bracket is included for various mounting options.
