The DSP-driven speakers have a DSP core on board for unparalleled processing capacity. The DSP can communicate discretely with other connected speakers, which means any problems that may occur can be located and solved quickly.
Seamless integration between wired and wireless
The AI series' key to success is its Active Integration technology, which is what enables it to communicate with both wired and wireless networks. All StudioLive AI speakers have a USB Wi-Fi module for connecting to the SL Room Control. The app, which is compatible with Mac OS X, Windows and iOS, allows your speakers to send information back and forth without any problems. You can adjust various parameters like EQ, muting and soloing by means of the SL Room Control app. What's more, the app keeps an eye on the speaker's performance and warns you if there's any risk of overheating.
Active powerhouse
The built-in amplifier is driven by a DSP system, with Linux OS that runs on a 470MHz platform and a Texas Instruments OMAP multicore processor at the heart of it. With sufficient RAM memory on board, you can be sure that any delay will be kept to a minimum.
