I had Mackie SRM 450 v2 with a sub but wanted better quality and to cut down on kit. I did loads of research and tested loads of speakers inc Bose 812s. But none had the bass and sound that these have and for such low price they are a bargain great quality fat sound no need for subs. I have now used 3 times and had lots of comments on quality of sound particular with dance/club music. Only slight downside is the weight and getting them up onto speaker poles/stands they could do with a tapered hole/entry for the stands to make it easier to mount them

Ik heb ondertussen al verschillende speakers voor DJ doeleinden gebruikt (12 en 15) maar geen enkele speaker combineerde voordien zo perfect loepzuivere hoge tonen met een vol en strak laag.
Het is verrassend hoe zuiver deze speakers klinken en hoeveel bas ze tegelijk produceren. Het laag blijft tegelijk echt strak zonder boomy te worden.
De DXRs gaan bovendien héél luid zonder te vervormen. Ook als je ze pusht blijven ze kristalhelder klinken.
In deze prijsklase vind je geen gelijke!
Ik kocht er de Yamaha transporthoezen bij. Diegenen die je voor buitengebruik kunt laten zitten. Topkwaliteit en top pasvorm.
