General

The dB Technologies SUB 612 is a great yet compact, active 12-inch subwoofer driven by a class-D amplifier. Just like its SUB Series siblings, it produces tight, full bass and covers a 46 to 123 Hz frequency range; an impressive feat considering its less than 20 kg weight. Completely unhindered by its modest dimensions, it's even capable of a maximum sound pressure level of 129 dB.

The SUB 612: Plenty of Possibilities

The SUB 612 may be compact but there are plenty of I/O and control options to be found on the back, including a mono/stereo switch, polarity inversion and true/bypass/crossover options for the left and right speakers. In addition, there's the sub-BOOST button, which can be used to boost the bass when needed. All in all, the SUB 612 is a more-than-capable sub to hook up to smaller dB Technologies satellite speakers like the B-Hype 8 or Opera 10.
