General

With the B-Hype series, dB Technologies have developed a range of active full-range speakers that are worthy of succeeding their popular Cromo line. This particular 8-inch speaker has been given all the latest upgrades and can deliver 260 watts of power, which is more than enough to fill any space with music.

dB Technologies B-Hype 8: Smallest sibling, biggest sound

The B-Hype series has received some significant updates. For starters, the grille now covers the entire front panel of the speaker. It has a 24-bit DSP with a dual equalizer. Using the handles on top and sides, you can manoeuvre the B-Hype from just about any position. You can also use it as a stage monitor by positioning it at a 45-degree angle. The horn has been optimised to reproduce the mid and high frequencies beautifully, and provide powerful sound projection.

Compact and suitable for anything

This relatively lightweight BH-12 houses a Class-D amplifier with an SPL of 120 dB as well as two inputs for an XLR or jack. It also gives you a choice of two equalizer presets, namely Flat and Boost. Mounting this speaker on a stand is no problem thanks to the 36 mm pole mount underneath. Last but not least, this speaker has a black finish.
