General

Team up your full-range PRX900 Series active PA speakers with this sub and be assured of a solid volume boost, bass performance and overall sonic presence. Fully designed for advanced acoustic performance, the PRX915XLF 15-inch subwoofer has a wooden cabinet and an integrated DSP that ensures you get nothing but a natural, supple response from the built-in 15-inch ferrite bass woofer. Combined with the FEA-optimised design, this bass bin effortlessly curbs unwanted distortion and noise, resulting in clear, accurate and most of all forceful sound at any volume level.

Built for Power

Every PRX900 subwoofer is driven by a combination of a powerful class-D amplifier and high-quality inductors. The in-built amp module of the PRX915XLF packs an impressive 1,000W RMS output (2,000W peak) yet guarantees clean audio at all times, while high-linearity inductors improve the efficiency and lower the THD for distortion-free sound. In addition, JBL have crammed in a professional DAC and ADC to ensure superb conversion.

Part of the JBL Pro Connect Ecosystem

The pumping heart that lies at the core of this impacting active bass bin is an incredibly extensive sound processor. This potent DSP can be fully adjusted from a safe distance using the JBL Pro Connect app - or using the set of controls and full-colour LCD screen found on the rear panel. Activate a range of options including a six-band parametric EQ or take advantage of a bank of pre-configured settings, each of which have been fully optimised for this system. Other DSP functions include tone controls, a lowpass filter and a delay of up to 20ms so your entire speaker system can be perfectly aligned. Via the app, up to ten speakers can be controlled at the same time - a control system which covers the JBL EON ONE MK2, PRX ONE and EON700 speakers as well as the rest of the PRX900 Series.
