General
The Yamaha DXS12 mk3
is the most compact active subwoofer in Yamaha’s new DXS series. With its 12-inch woofer, 3-inch voice coil and a newly developed 2,500-watt Class D amplifier, this sub delivers a surprisingly powerful and deep bass down to as low as 38 Hz. Thanks to its efficient bandpass design and smart DSP, including D-XSUB processing and a flexible crossover, the bass is not only powerful but also tight and clear. Practical features such as cardioid mode for better bass control on stage and Bluetooth for wireless streaming make the DXS12 mk3 exceptionally versatile. The sturdy plywood cabinet and dual stand flanges ensure that this sub is easy to transport and simple to set up, whether used on its own or with DXR mk3 tops.
